not so big deal as people make it out, 36 hours is very very easy, start in evening after dinner, so you will sleep over night first 12 hours pretty much, in morning you won't still be hungry, just skip one lunch, the worst part is next dinner after 24 hours, if you survive that and just go sleep the other morning you can again enjoy food and you are done with 36 hours very easy way, I actually continued and coul take it longer but seen no point after 40 hours, could really do it regularly but don't see that much point in it, like how some people visiting temples see this as some spiritual crap and make it so difficult while it's actually pretty easy to do
once when younger I tried just out of curiosity to be vegan, first for month, then maybe 3 months and then after some time I just gave up, since if I wanted I could do it indefinitely but it was eating into my wallet, eating meat and not paying attention what all things contain traces of meat is just much cheaper and you have bigger variety of tasty options
same goes for this exaggerated move, I can perfectly fine imagine eating NORMAL SIZED McDonald's portions (it's truth he could not refuse if I remember his rules correctly) and be probably healthier than is your regular person living in China eating Chinese cuisine crap for instance, thanks to McD being under magnifier, but overal it's always about reasonable limits, it doesn't really matter what you are eating if you have some self control

I don't know about you guys but McD's can be downright ADDICTING! For the record I SELDOM go there...if I go once a month that's a LOT...but the other day my gf wanted to grab a quick breakfast on the way out of town and after eating their McGriddle & hashbrowns I found myself getting SECONDS!!!! I was like 'WTF?!?' Haven't set foot in there since (this was close to a month ago)
OK, McD's rant over!
