Then one day, a photographer who seems to be holding something secret comes to the island. However, the man who guards the island misunderstands the visitor and kills him because of it. Bok-soon, who loved the dead photographer, commits suicide upon seeing the photographer's death. A man who has gone mad after killing someone hears a story from Soo-hee, who lives with him, and only later finds out all the secrets...

무인도나 다름없는 외딴 섬에 섬을 지키는 남자와 그 남자의 여자 수희가 살고 있다. 그리고 사랑하던 남자에게 버림을 받고 정신을 놓아버린 복순. 이렇게 오직 세 명만이 사는 섬 '죽어도'. 그러던 어느 날 이 섬에 무언가 비밀을 간직한 것처럼 보이는 사진작가가 찾아온다. 하지만 이 섬을 지키는 남자는 그 방문객을 오해하게 되고 그로 인해 그를 죽이고 만다. 죽은 사진작가를 사랑했던 복순은 사진작가의 죽음을 보고 자살을 한다. 사람을 죽이고 정신이 나간 남자는 같이 사는 수희에게서 이야기를 들으며 나중에서야 모든 비밀을 알게 되는데...
