Discuss Nefarious

I suppose the movie is supposed to make you think and keep you guessing whether the serial killer is just faking it or whether there really is something more going on. However I don't think there was much left to ponder since that beginning scene with the diploma sort of spoils it and the viewers can right away see there is some supernatural shenanigans afoot. A decent movie either way. Probably not something you'd watch a second time though.

I have to disagree there, solely for the fact that while Nefariamus was successful in executing Dr. Fischer's suicide, he was not successful with Dr. Martin.

Yes, the movie pushes the viewer into believing what the answer is early into the piece but that's not where the mystery was ever meant to be, as far as I interpreted from it.

The fact there was divine intervention in saving our atheist from Nefariamus and the outcome of his literary crusade thereafter was something I did not expect out of this. Furthermore, the messages within this movie will probably resonate more with conservatives and the like, taking stabs at today's leftist ideology, which makes Glenn Beck's appearance less surprising. Nevertheless, it was still well written. Despite the theology, it is still a good take on where society is headed when you dig into the nuances.
