Discuss The Craft

I always wondered if this movie was released in the late 80's. Who they would have cast for this movie?

Probably members of the Brat Pack, so you'd get Ally Sheedy, Molly Ringwald, Demi Moore... Jami Gertz and Mia Sara also spring to mind... Although I don't think it would've been anywhere near as good without Fairuza Balk as arguably the only un-replacable member of the cast anyway.

I'd add Winona Ryder to the list.

Who would you cast today? I can't imagine any who would do it justice...

I can't believe I didn't put her on the list especially as I'd only just watched Heathers... D'oh!

I think Heather Langenkamp (Nancy Thompson from the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise) could have played Sarah (Robin Tunney) and Jennifer Connelly could have played Bonnie (Neve Campbell) if The Craft was made in the 1980's.

Aubrey Plaza as Nancy

How about Johnny Depp playing Chris Hooker (Skeet Ulrich) inm a 1980's version of The Craft. My suggestion of Depp as Chris perfectly fits with my idea of having Heather Langenkamp playing Sarah Bailey, considering that those two actors previously appeared in the first NIghtmare on Elm Street film which was Depp's film debut.

If it was the 80s I would make Vanity Nancy. Jodi foster or Jennifer Jason Lee as Sarah. Shawnee Smith as Bonnie and Terrie Gerrier as Rochelle.
