I can't make up my mind which is better? The original is great only the ending they ran out of money and time, so it's rushed, but everything else works. Hellbound is a artistic masterpiece IMO, some people point out little plot holes, but it all made sense to me, the maggot and razor scene has to be one of the grossest scenes in horror history, make sure to get the unedited cut.

I feel Hellbound completes Hellraiser. The two are essentially the same movie, and best watched back to back as far as I'm concerned.

The first two films are equally amazing! They should have ended the series there.

I like how it expands on the plot it isn't hands that summon us, but desire, you see inside the box of the world they inhabit and what happened to the villains from one

Hellbound is a fun horror spectacular but it's let down by the conspicuous absence of Kirsty's dad - the object of her quest.
It's also puke-inducingly disgusting, but I see how that can be a merit for these films.
