Julie Andrews' part is underwritten and every time they focus on her the film stops. And I hated Moore's character until he makes his way to the dentist. I mean a 42-year-old rich guy driving around Beverly Hills in his RR being sad. Pffttt. But then the dentist scene followed by some fine comic bits by Moore and, surprisingly strong, earnest Dee Wallace and Brian Dennehy-- who are AMAZING. Yeah, it's a film of it's time and the sex and attitudes towards women are appalling. But Robert Weber surprisingly hits a very sad note near the end (and he usually plays unlikable guys).

Bo and Flash Gordon are in it.
