I haven't watched this movie in years, but on a whim I decided to watch it again the other night. I'd forgotten how funny it was and I couldn't help laughing out loud at several points in the movie. James Gunn's humor isn't for everyone, but it's certainly right up my alley. I haven't seen The Suicide Squad yet but I have a feeling it's got the same "Oh man, I really shouldn't laugh at this but I can't help it!" humor as Slither.

Favorite line: "Bitch is hard core." Just about every line out of MacReady's mouth is quotable.

EDIT: Holy shit, Gunn DID make a reference to Slither in The Suicide Squad! In the trailer, Nathan Filion's character is seen drinking a Mr. Pibb. This is a direct reference to the greatest rant in Slither. God, I don't know the man but I LIKE James Gunn even more.
