Overview

　　故事发生在七十年代的智利，独裁者的武断和专横让这里的民众生活在水深火热之中。弗兰西斯卡（安东尼奥·班德拉斯 Antonio Banderas 饰）是一位底下革命工作者，他伪装成了摄影师，想要通过获得独裁者暴力统治的证据来推翻政权。　　一次偶然中，弗兰西斯卡结识了名叫伊莲娜（詹妮弗·康纳利 Jennifer Connelly 饰）的女子，伊莲娜是一位时装杂志的记者，她的美貌和独立很快就吸引了弗兰西斯卡的注意，随着时间的推移，情投意合的两人渐渐走到了一起。然而，伊莲娜已经有了男友，而她的男友正是一名秘密警察，就这样，弗兰西斯卡和伊莲娜为了他们的爱情，开始了行走在刀尖之上的游戏。
