Cincinnati Kid is on Netflix! Watching it again it's clearly a light redo of The Hustler with poker over pool. Wife's notes: Rip Torn way hotter than Steve McQueen. Tuesday Weld hotter than Ann-Margret. Hey, it's Aunt Sissy from Tree Grows in Brooklyn! EG Robinson voice always wins every scene. Rip Torn has a firing range as an extension to his fancy southern living room? And cockfighting is not cool. Especially clearly a real one.

Nice review.

  1. Remember seeing it once on screen.
  2. Remember McQueen in it.
  3. Did see a trailer for it back awhile.
  4. Do remember Blondell from trailer.
  5. Didn't remember rest of all star cast until now.
  6. Remember scene about tossing dice or quarters or chips or something at wall.
