I'm a big fan of Terminator 1+2 but after the disappointing Terminator Salvation I didn't really want to watch Genesys.

That stupid trailer that gave away the twist didn't help.

I have finally watched it and I have to say that it was better than expected. It doesn't even come close to part 1+2 but I had fun watching it. The story was dumb and it is a typical PG-13 CGI overkill action movie.

What really impressed me was the recreation of the scenes from the first movie. At first I wasn't sure if they had just used original footage. Young Arnold was the first photorealistic CGI character I have seen that looks convincing.
