The German tv premiere was most likely on April 3rd, 1999, on a channel that was called "premiere" (or "Premiere" - I think now it's called Sky Deutschland). The channel was going through some rough changes in the years 1997 to 1999, so I'm not sure if this was pay tv or free tv back then? I personally only know this channel from before 1996, and it was analog/cable pay tv with a few movies/shows that were shown free for promotion. I assume it will be very hard to find any information about the programm schedule from 1999 - I have no idea where to look? The only things that come to my mind are printed newspapers in archives (but I'm not even sure they included this channel at all) and some old printed Premiere programm magazines that someone might have collected (the title in April 1999 was most likely "Premiere - Das Magazin für Abonnenten" - the title changed in mid 1999, it seems). But that's a very long shot...

For what it's worth, the German OFDb lists three different versions of the film and 2 of them state "Erstausstrahlung am 03.04.1999 auf Premiere":

This matches the short data that filmdienst.de offers online. If someone can find the printed issue 22 of filmdienst from 1999 and look at page 5, we might know for sure? Some sources say that's the date of a German theatrical release, but I think it was never released theatrically in Germany. The title for this first tv release is always listed as "Gefährliche Schönheit - Die Kurtisane von Venedig."

Other early German language tv releases for Germany/Austria/Switzerland are listed here. I checked the 3 earliest titles with GENIOS - and it seems they are all different:

2.) SF2 (Switzerland) - 24.10.2001 - Die Kurtisane von Venedig (Dangerous Beauty)
3.) Pro7 (Germany) - 20.12.2001 - Dangerous Beauty - Die Kurtisane von Venedig

Ten years later (October 18th, 2019), a German DVD and a Blu-ray were released by a company called justbridge entertainment - both titles are now "Dangerous Beauty - Gefährliche Schönheit."
