I love when Superman goes back to the Diner at the end to demand satisfaction from poor old Rocky.
This coming from a saviour (sent to Earth by his celestial father to watch over us) surely tells us that we - as mere mortals - should also always hold grudges and seek out revenge at the earliest opportunity.
Interesting to see a movie bold enough to promote this alternative take on morality...

SPOILER BELOW.
Ha hah, I know, but it still felt rewarding when Superman gave Rocky a spin.

I always looked at it as teaching a bully a lesson. One of my favorite scenes.
Um, this orders to go.
Oh, I've been uh, working out.

If Zack Snyder was directing he would have had Kal-El kill the bully.

Well he did step proceedings up a bit - He had Kal-El utterly destroy the guy's truck!

Are you referring to Man of Steel? With bearded Superman? That look of his completely alienated me!

Yeah - In Man Of Steel he gets harassed in a Diner by an updated version of Rocky, while standing up for his female co-worker. The guy chucks a beer can at him while Kal-El's back's turned. He doesn't respond then but later when the guy stumbles out drunk he finds his truck has been destroyed!

I remember that reaction. How very noble.
