I'm here. Hope the rest follow. These seems like a pretty good option. I saw talk of a facebook group. Anything happen with that?

What's IMDB?

Yes I'm here.

I love this movie and I love Christmas!!!

I also came over from IMDb (I mostly posted on IMDb Poll board).

I like this movie and I love Christmas too. I used to do a '25 days of Christmas songs/videos' at the poll board with one or two different 'Christmas' songs everyday. Funny songs, serious songs, songs in different languages, etc. I'm going to miss doing that this year.

I always start watching many Christmas movies and hearing many Christmas more or less in October and afterwards.

One thing to miss about IMDb message boards are those good old interesting and friendly annual traditions.

Other than that, let's play Word Association. When you hear IMDb message board, the next word to spring to mind probably would be _____ trolls?

Few IMDb message board Trolls gave the place a little to think about, such as those trolls who pretended to be part of a show or star's inner circle, who knew how to prove everybody else wrong on the board.

But for the most part, everybody else just kept negating every remark so that everybody else was wrong on the board anyway except for the trolls alter egos, who were always right about everything, which they were not.

Makes you wonder whatever happened to all of those IMDb message board Trolls because sometimes they could provide a lot more entertainment than the show they were talking about even if nobody else obviously knew what anybody else was talking about.

I found this site shortly after seeing IMDB had shutdown their board. I thought the message boards generated traffic, which means more ad money. So wasnt really understanding why they got rid of it. Maybe it wasnt as popular as i thought.

This site is harder to find search wise. A reddit user recommended this.

I just like watching a film and if i had any questions or whatever i could get the answer. Same with TV Shows. Since I started posting here numbers were superlow. Months later its getting more and more member posting daily. I like many others try to keep it going and soon it will be more busy. I remember the 1st page didnt move for a while.

I am here - I used to be a fan of the IMDB Classic Movie section. There was so much knowledge available there - I do miss it. I think it had run out of steam though - there are only so many movies you can ask about and comment upon and it got very silly and repetitive. Of course there were the foul mouthed trolls who brought filth into every post and the idiots who asked things like - Joan Crawford or Bette Davis? But there was an ignore button which I did have to use on occasion, especially when being personally attacked by trolls who called me all manner of names if I disagreed with anything they said. I miss it - but I think it's end was due.
