Hello,
House of Tolerance is for sure the international English title, however, it seems that in the US it was release by IFC Films as House of Pleasures.

Yeah, it does seem to be the first English-language release title.
"Called “L’Apollonide” when it had its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, the movie initially bore the English title “House of Tolerance” but has been renamed by IFC Films, the American distributor that is releasing it this week." - https://web.archive.org/web/20111119003846/https://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/20/movies/bertrand-bonellos-house-of-pleasures-set-in-brothel.html
I assume the "initially" there refers to its screenings at Anglophone film festivals.
