spoilers A peadophile?
You know because there's always summer camp leaders being accused of peadophilia in the same way that preachers are, just got me thinking if perhaps he was meant to be one as well. But didn't get caught unlike the preacher. Or if maybe he was there just to hint that there will be a theme of peadophilia in it?
Couldn't help to think that, since it's a Spike Lee film and most his film has something to say about race, that PERHAPS the reason we never found out that James Ransone's character was peado was because he was white. And you know white people can get away with anything (ironic tone). spoilers

I saw the film awhile back, but do not remember the character you're referring to. Pretty sweet film.

He wasn't in it alot to be fair... the only white guy in it I believe lol. Showed up in the beginning walking around the hood with some of the summer camp kids talked briefly to the preacher and said hi to the lead kid, briefly walked in the background at another point and in the montage in the end he was playing around with the summer camp kids, hugging them etc...
which would have been seen as completely innocent but the theme of the movie made me wonder, seeing as his character didn't serve much purpose as a whole if he was meant to be as one of the secret peadophiles who's never caught.
