It's not terrible, but it just seems like it tries quite hard to be a more complex and better movie than it really is. Was actually surprised to see Russel Crowe in the ending credits as the director. The movie starts interestingly enough and it seems like it is building into some kind of a super complex plan to right some wrongs of the past. About halfway through the film it all really fizzles out and a lot of the stuff they've been building up to doesn't really end up leading anywhere. My favourite is the poker game that they just decide to abandon all of a sudden or Elsa Pataky's entire role which is to deal out some cards for a few minutes and after that she walks out of the movie or Crowe poisoning his friends just for the heck of it and them apparently being pretty cool with it. Also not so sure about the break in into this super high tech house of the tech billionaire who for some reason does not possess the intellect to call the police.
