아일랜드의 한적한 섬마을인 에린 섬에, 휴가를 떠나는 경찰서장 대신 여경관 리사가 파견되고

리사는 그곳에서 함께 일할 경관인 오셔와 만나게 되는데 그는 항상 술에 취해 지내며 산다.
