Why does Godzilla's head keep getting smaller (in relation to his body) in every new movie?

I've wondered that myself! It must somehow be seen as cool, but I'm at a loss for how.

Ever since they started bulking him up, his head keeps getting smaller. It looks so weird.

I think its actually lore related, since titans keep growing. 2014 Godzilla is much smaller than 2024 Godzilla, so I guess that's why his body has changed.

Okay, but isn't his head a part of his body? Shouldn't it also keep growing proportionately?

A bit OT but have you seen "Three Thousand Years of Longing" and if so, what was your impression?

Does anybody know why Julian Dennison (Josh Valentine) wasn't in this?

I have not but, just checking out its page here on TMDb, it looks like another entrant of the "magical negro" trope (see articles on Wikipedia and/or TVTropes).

Assuming you've seen it, what was your impression?

I'm a HUGE Idris Elba fan but I'm not a fan of Swinton, so I was a bit reluctant about watching it. But I enjoyed it (for the most part), although I think I'll watch it again (to catch things I didn't see the first time). It's visually stunning. The film was adapted from an A. S. Byatt short story, "The Djinn in the Nightingale's Eye".

I read the Wiki article & personally, I don't think it applies here. He's a djinn so some magic is involved but NOT in the way the 'trope' suggests.

The thing here is convenience. How much convenient is for Godzilla's head to grow up? His arms grew and I think his legs too, which improves his movement a lot, and you can see that in the movie, especially in the third act. Titans grow in order to be stronger, and a bigger head might be a weakness in the future, who knows.

Also, I'm Spanish, so if you see any writing mistakes, that's why hehe.

I haven't, what's the plot?

I was directing the question to DRDmovieMusings but I'll leave the link to the movie.
