That was the part that terrified me as a kid. My dad used to hire out all these old horror films when me and my sister were young and thought that it would be a good idea to let us watch them too, lol. Even though I thought that alot of them were scary none of them really got to me as much as AWIL did. The violence was and still is to this day pretty shocking and its amazing that the MPAA were as lenient as they were, considering this was a studio picture and not a grindhouse exploitation picture. So yeah, I was too terrified to watch that part for about 6 years until I mustered up the courage to watch it again. Nowadays I love this film and its one of my favourites.

The scene on the moors was pretty terrifying too. I saw a lot of horror films as a kid, this is the only one I can remember scaring me though.

Well the nazi werewolves were kind of silly...except when they cut his throat.

The Nazi Werewolf scene terrified me as a kid. It was just so random and violent.

The whole Nazi killing dream & the one where David is lying in the bed in the woods and then opens his eyes and mouth were scary for me as a kid. The Nazi scene though is still pretty brutal...

The Nazi killing dream is brutal and freaked me out as a kid as well as the hospital bed in the woods.

And then it stabs her in the chest. I chuckled at that. It's also grimly amusing to me when the Nazi werewolves kill his family in his dream.

Definitely, the whole lead up to Jack's attack is brilliantly shot and the suspense is really amped up with that bone chilling howl.
