The overview is misleading. According to it Humbert has "fallen hopelessly in love" with Lolita, while Quilty is a "devious trickster" who tries to "appropriate" her. The fact is that they are both child molesters who try to get Lolita under their control. Humbert is simply the more successful molester. He may have more feeling, but that's only because we see only his side of the conflict.

Hey,
Please edit your post, and move it back to "General". Itβs the standard when you create a new discussion, but you seem to have accidentally put it in "Content Issues".
This section (Content Issues) is only for reports when a user finds something wrong with the data entered on TMDb. When they hit the report button and tell us whatβs wrong or what should be fixed, those are automatically posted in the content issues section of the forums for mods to take a look at. Itβs also posted in movie or series discussion page in a seperate section so you can easily look back on earlier changes/decisions regarding reports.
Thanks!

I think it actually is a content report, asking us to find a better overview. It's a bit long anyhow, so maybe we can shorten it?

Oh right, haha! Didn't look at it that way, haha.
I've fixed up a new overview :)

I think maybe leave out the death. Here was my suggestion:
" Humbert Humbert is a middle-aged British novelist who is both appalled by and attracted to the vulgarity of American culture. When he comes to stay at the boarding house run by Charlotte Haze, he soon becomes obsessed with Lolita, the woman's teenaged daughter."

I added it then (if I understood your thumbs up correctly). Closing topic.
