One thing that makes me really curious and kind of bothers me is...
When we find out that the dad killed the mother when he turned into the Wolfman, and young Lawrence Talbot finds them when he was a boy. Why didn't the dad attack the boy? he was in full wolfman transformation and he just killed his wife.
Young Lawrence Talbot find his father and his dead mother, and then he lives to "tell the tale?"
Then we find out that he was sent to the mental institution for a year,
But seriously why didn't Sir John Talbot attacked him in Wolfman form?
How did Lawrence survive that night?

It had been his first time turning into a werewolf - he had no control. Werewolves usually have little in the way of memory from their lives of people. Some, but not a lot. Think of the werewolf as the id manifested into physical form, like a more supernatural version of Mr. Hyde.
