This is one of my absolute favorite horror films! The atmosphere, music and cast are all top notch! I wish they still made scary movies this good these days.

One of mine as well. I think Carpenter struck gold here, no pun intended, it was a great Halloween story

I've also been a huge fan since I saw this. I believe the first time I saw it was in college on TV. I somehow found out that it was playing at like 6 am or something and (well before DVR was the norm but we didn't have a VCR anymore... or at least one hooked up to the cable) I woke up on either a Sat. or Sun. to watch! I had to watch in the main room of the apartment as I had a roommate, and no one could understand why I got up so early! I ended up loving it and, while I believe I didn't buy it for another few years, I eventually did pick it up and watch it near Halloween every year!
