I saw a screening of The Heiress (1949) last fall, where she won the Best Actress Oscar. The daughter of the director, William Wyer, participated in a Q&A after the film. She said that she speaks with Olivia de Havilland regularly, but that they never talk about any films she made.

That's neat to hear, Mon.
I recall that TCM's (Turner Classic Movies') late host Robert Osborne always called Olivia one of his dear friends and said they spoke on the phone every week. It sounds like she was someone who the people who knew her considered a true and loyal friend.

Some say, if you show them a man who has no flaws, he will live forever. RIP Olivia, it seems you had a good journey & it bore little in the way of baggage.
