Now I have absolutely no faith that Paul Anderson will ever deliver a movie that manages to be any more than "Good", but in the hands of someone else, I would very much love to see a more earnest attempt at telling the story of Pompeii. It has all of the necessary elements to set up a great disaster movie, but this... just... they can do much better. I also wish someone in hollywood would actually figure out how volcanoes work. The most accurate volcano film to date is Dante's Peak, and even that was over-the-top.
