En 2017, al cumplirse 100 años de la Revolución Bolchevique, no se realizó ningún acto oficial en Rusia. El gobierno central decidió confinar al ámbito de los museos la memoria de la Revolución. En ese clima de desmemoria, algunas escenas desgajadas de la realidad traen el pasado al presente. Dos jóvenes roofers, Nikita y Karl, exploran la ciudad, buscan restos históricos y lugares específicos, suben a los techos. En su deambular se encuentran con edificios y balcones abandonados. Katya, una mujer en apariencia mayor, recorre uno de los espacios capitales del proceso revolucionario: el Campo de Marte, en San Petersburgo. Katya cuenta sobre la Revolución de Febrero, la que puso fin a la dinastía Romanov. Rememora el período posrevolucionario y rescata la figura de uno de los intelectuales y científicos más interesantes de la época: Aleksandr Bogdánov, autor de un libro utópico de ciencia ficción llamado Estrella roja.

In 2017, 100 years after the Bolshevik Revolution, no official event was held in Russia. The central government decided to confine the memory of the Revolution to museums. In this climate of forgetfulness, some scenes detached from reality bring the past to the present. Two young roofers, Nikita and Karl, explore the city, search for historical remains and specific places, climb the roofs. In their wandering they find abandoned buildings and balconies. Katya, an apparently older woman, walks through one of the capital spaces of the revolutionary process: the Champ de Mars, in St. Petersburg. Katya tells about the February Revolution, which ended the Romanov dynasty. It recalls the post-revolutionary period and rescues the figure of one of the most interesting intellectuals and scientists of the time: Aleksandr Bogdanov, author of a utopian science fiction book called Red Star.

볼셰비키 혁명 발발 100주년인 2017년. 러시아에서는 어떤 공식 행사도 열리지 않았다. 중앙정부는 혁명의 기억을 무해한 박물관 환경 속에 가두기로 결정한다. 이런 망각의 분위기 속에서 현실과 분리된 일부 장면들이 과거를 현재로 불러온다.
