Discuss 亡命救护车

Didn't even realize it was a Michael Bay production until I came here to give my opinion on it. Usually his movies are at least watchable in the sense that you can get through them, but this movie it's just absolute and utter garbage. It's a movie so you can understand if some things don't make sense, but its like nothing makes sense in this movie. Like the whole setup of them robbing the bank and everyone seeing their faces and them getting obviously caught on cameras and they are somehow going to enjoy that money even if they make it out of the bank? Then we find out Gyllenhaal is a notorious and famous bank robber who has somehow robbed like 17 banks and still hasn't been caught even though his high tech idea of robbing a bank is apparently just walking to the bank with guns and yelling GIMME YOUR MONEY with a bro he recruited five minutes earlier. Then we have the braindead ambulance car chase where the police can't seem to make up their mind are they following the ambulance or not and whether or not they should do something about said ambulance. Apparently having a driving license is not a requirement to pass through the academy either. I lost count how many times the police somehow managed to flip or crash their cars in a spectacular reason. Then they decide they've finally had enough and post some snipers on some billboards to take out the hapless duo driving the ambulance. Even though they are so worried about the EMT in the back they decide to unload what seem to be several .50BMG rounds into the ambulance and I would assume they would go through the robber, the EMT and the car, but might as well kill three birds with one stone, right. The strong independent female EMT is a real piece of work as well. They show and portray her as some kind of a super nurse who can keep anyone alive for 20 minutes only to later show that she somehow hasn't even realized that her patient has been shot in the torso. I would imagine checking the patient for multiple injuries is kind of integral for an EMT nurse. Don't even know what to say about the ambulance switch scene because it is so idiotic you just have to see it to believe it. Not to mention the world's worst FBI agent whose only job seems to be stopping the police from doing what they are supposed to do. Of course we have the mandatory law enforcement inter-agency fight over jurisdiction or whatever. The whole movie just seems asinine and boring and even getting through it feels like a huge chore.
