Discuss Damsel

Let me say that it could've been a pretty decent movie, but there's just too much silliness and nonsense and you are left shaking your head too often and it all comes off as rather stupid even if it is about dragons and whatnot. Like right at the start of the movie when the royal family or cult gather up and throw her in the giant hole falling what looks like about a 100 meters down and she and apparently everyone else magically survive the fall. Now I imagine at that point she would have some kind of an inkling that there is something down there that is after her and what does she do. She climbs up a little and loudly starts yelling for help from the people who just threw her down the hole. Now does she think the prince accidentally slipped on a banana peel and that caused her to throw her down or whomever is she expecting to respond to her pleas of help. Anyways, soon after she encounters the dragon and continues to evade the dragon in the most efficient way by making as much noise as humanly possible. Now this dragon apparently is the worst hunter to ever live and all of his/her female victims manage to evade him/her and end up in the same place where they conveniently keep a tally of visitors. All is not lost though as the dragon has super hearing and can hear something happening in the cavern hundreds of meters away, but somehow can't hear the heroine loudly yelling NO!!!!!! right next to her because she is hiding behind a pillar. The dragon's sense of smell is a marvel in itself as well as it can smell the "royalty" from someone just because a royal's blood has touched the victim's open wound, but again somehow the dragon seems to have major problems smelling someone who is standing right next to it. Well, surely its' fire breathing skill is at least top notch? Guess not. The fire is fast enough to burn flying birds escaping the dragon, but not fast enough to catch a Millie Bobbie Brown who is lifting up her skirt and clumsily running away from it. Makes sense.

Anyways the whole movie basically starts with a lie and it boldly states: "There are many stories of chivalry where the heroic knight saves the damsel in distress. This is not one of them". Thing is the only reason she got out of the cave to begin with was because her father came to save her not to mention using her fathers weapon against the dragon.

tldr; Just watch Reign of Fire for a better movie and experience.
