How was Professor X able to cameo at the end of this alive, again?

it was never explained lmao

The post-credits scene after Last Stand implied he had transferred his consciousness into someone else. It's supposed to be his brother who was effectively brain-dead.

Thanks....

I believe I read this over at IMDb... my only problem with it is that in the post-Last Stand movies, Xavier looks like Xavier - not some other guy. Heh, so much for dis-continuity.

Twinsies?

Or his mental powers making you THINK you see his original face...

It's his twin, P. Xavier, per The Last Stand commentary.

Thanks! My only problem with that is: I don't think you should have to watch extra commentary to get the development of a film franchise. Plus, it seems a bit too easy of a contrivance.

I suppose the intention was to exaplain in the next movie, but the next time we really saw Prof x was DOFP, and that dealt wit timelines where, arguably, it never happened...
