I was kinda with it up until that ridiculous France heist. Wtf they brainwashed him into flying around the world to see a magic show? Lol flipping a casino chip in front of him will make him fly around the world? Then she measured his head size??? By touching his head she was able to determine the exact size??? And then she immediately jumps onto a headset and tells the team "OH I JUST MEASURED HIS HEAD SIZE!" As if they're going to be so relieved. "HEY GUYS: SHE DID IT! WE GOT THIS! THE EYE WILL BE PLEASED!!!" And ffs why is his head size so important?
Did someone actually write that idea down and give it to the director and say "LOOK AT MY AWESOME IDEA"??

It's called a post-hypnotic suggestion, not brainwashing.
It's called a post-hypnotic trigger stimulus.
I think maybe you should have watched that scene more carefully.

"trigger stimulus" doesn't make any sense though, they both mean the exact same thing just like chai tea

No, they don't mean the same thing. It sounds like you're young and/or somewhat uneducated. There are a lot of things that are stimuli, but they don't necessarily trigger a specific response. However, a trigger stimulus can cause someone to act in a specific way based on a post-hypnotic suggestion.
