Should there really be a "Featured List" of movies with twists?

Knowing that there is a twist coming kind of defeats the purpose and ruins the twist...so why are these type of lists featured on the front page?

I agree. I caught a movie from the 80s on the TV the other night and all I could remember about it is my mother telling me "It has a great twist".
I totally saw the twist coming.
Once you know that a movie is going to do a 180 it can be so easy to spot.
Even more so with The Sixth Sense because it doesn't cheat with its twist and puts all the info out there for the viewer.
