believe the series would have followed Carrie in Florida and finding other girls like herself. She would have helped them deal with these powers. I think I read a long time ago that she would eventually run into a girl who is using her abilities for evil purposes and Carrie feels like she has stop that girl's sinful ways.

Carrie was also supposed to be haunted by dreams and then visions of her mother and Chris, which manifest because she harbors a deep guilt about what she had done. No one from the tv movie except the main actress (Carrie) and the actresses who played her mom and Chris would have been in the series. Although mom and Chris would have been minor roles probably popping up once in a while.

Nothing was ever mentioned as to how Carrie would have survived out there on the streets. Maybe some kind caring elderly couple would have taken her in and treated her like a daughter.

Society has awakened to the irrefutable fact, that telekinesis exists, that the so called miracles are not miracles. How will society react? How will Carrie hide herself? How will Chamberlain react to what has happened? What about the other teleknetics? How did she achieve those powers? How will they evolve? Her being hunted by FBI and other governmental organizations and foreign organizations who want to abuse her powers, etc. There definitely is potential in every way.
