Hi again, a couple of issues here. First, what was wrong with the image you didn't like. It appeared to be fine. The way the image looks is by design I think. Second, the image you added was distorted, the face was too tall. So it was deleted. Was this an image that you found or did you use an image program to set the size to 2000x3000?
Bacause it´s an old movie and I want to set the one with credits. I think this must be setup at user level, since if you have a collection of the movies you have you want all the covers in the same format, not once "with credits" and other one "without them". It´s an aesthetics issue
Sorry, but that's not how it works. You can't report a good image because you prefer a different image. Only report bad images.
Also, in order to help you not add bad images you need to answer this: Was this an image that you found or did you use an image program to set the size to 2000x3000?
I know i can't report as a bad image but i don' t have any other option to do it. I'm trying to understand the criteria since there's not any specific rule to set one image by default...only the votes
I found another example. So now I can explain it better to you. This is the original image and this is your version of the original. Open both images. Make sure they are the same size, then go from one image to the other. You will notice that your image is distorted. To avoid this you have to crop the original image. Otherwise the end result is a bad image. So make sure you understand how your image program works before adding more images. And feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Here is the properly fixed image I just added. Notice the cropping. I removed information on both sides. That is how you have to fix it if you need to get to the correct aspect ratio. But for some posters that means removing information and that can make a poster worse, which means at times it's better to have good quality image not at the perfect aspect ratio.
Yes, for posters that should be no problem. I think there is a limit set at 1:1.33, which means 600x800 or similar is fine to add. And remember to crop if needed.
Sorry to open...if I upload a wrong aspect radio...i have a red cross next to the size...and this image never will be the image by defaultnif there's another one with the right aspect radio in this case...which is the solution ?
No worries. The votes decide so it's not really something you can impact. But it's true that users may prefer the one with the perfect aspect ratio. But sometimes it's not possible to get to that without destroying the image.

Yes, only the votes. Maybe there is a language barrier here, but can you answer the question I asked?

So, if i´m understanding right, keep the aspect radio is not the important thing, although we have a red cross next to the size ?
