Overview
地底での大冒険から4年が経ち、トレバーの甥のショーンは17歳になった。そんなある日、彼の祖父のアレクサンダーから無線で謎のメッセージが届いた。ショーンは無線のメッセージが示す、ジュール・ヴェルヌが描いた『神秘の島』へ行こうとするが、義理の父親のハンクも冒険に同行することに。そして二人はガイドのガバチョと、彼の娘・カイラニと共に島へ出発。島にたどり着いたショーンたちはアレクサンダーと再会するが、島はあと数日で沈没してしまうという事実を知るのだった。
