The massacre scene at the beginning where everyone , including children and babies, is murdered. I fast forwarded through that part with the sound off.

They don't really show anything, though, do they? It's PG13 and it shows. They did seem to mess up the whole Punisher character anyways in this movie and he resorts to unnecessarily complicated and elaborate and silly plots against John Travolta's character and his gang in this movie.

Agreed.
It's a great revenge thriller but it's NOT a Punisher story.
