Jeff Sneider, a writer for Hollywood Insider, has claimed that the Broccolis, the producer family behind the Bond movies, are more than a bit interested in creating their own inter-connected universe for 007, tweeting: "I've heard the Broccolis have caught Universe Fever and would love to explore other corners of the Bond franchise... simultaneously."
Horrible idea, Bond is truly dead.

I was hoping that the title was a parody of the state of big studio filmmaking... dissapointing news...
I felt they were going there with Spectre (spoilers ahead).... with the villain of that movie being bonds brother or whatever it was...

Nothing is confirmed so lets just hope that it remains a rumor. But if it happens I think it'l be safe to finally give up on this franchise if you haven't done so already sometime in the past 10 years.

They could easily create new solo films for 00 characters not mentioned in the books, who interact with M, Q and Moneypenny.
Though I doubt they'll do that, they'll probally use iconic villians and mess it up.

This is the most horrible thing I've heard since Dr. Ben Carson became HUD Secretary! Marvelize 007? WTF? I sure hope that they changed their minds!
