Margot was a star for some time before Eve appeared as fan. Then one year later, I think, Eve was a rising star and then she got her fan, Phoebe. Why did it take so long for Margot to get such an obsessive fan, and Eve got hers almost immediately?

We don't know how long Aged In Wood had been playing at the Theater when the flashback sequence starts. From what Karen says, she'd seen Eve hanging outside the theatre for so long that she thought it was strange that Eve WASN'T there. So I figure that it had to have been at least 3 months. And Margo was aware that Eve been there, but she didn't pay too much attention because she was so used to having fans outside the theater that she never gave Eve a second thought.
And as for Phoebe, Eve was such an overnight sensation that it wouldn't take very long for Eve to get her very own obsessed fan.
