most relatable quote ever! I mean...I even get upset when I miss the trailers before the film haha!

True! I feel the same! I can't even understand those people who watch movies on TV that have already started..

Yes! I'd rather wait for a movie to start instead of watching it from the middle. I never enjoyed zapping.

Same here! Although, when I went to the theatre like 4 times a week, I mostly made sure I was there no sooner than 10 minutes before if it was a super popular movie in the evening. I went during the day most of the times though, so there aren't a lot of other folks. Then I'd just go in just as it starts, up to 5 minutes after it started, because I've seen all the commercials and trailers a dozen times already. As long as I'm there as before 10 minutes late, I still get in, haha.

Yeah and each theater's different like if it says showing at 9:00pm, some are on the dot 9.00pm meaning trailers start at 8.40ishpm. But other say showing at 9.00pm, meaning trailers starts that time and the film around 9.20ish. So when like rushing - most are like it's okay to be 10 minutes late cos the will play the trailers first, but we never really know! I'll be the one going in first while they queue for popcorn etc I just hate being late
I also like watching early showtimes and weekdays - used to do that when I was a student, hard to do that now. Plus cheaper tickets

The irony for me is that, while I mostly agree with this quote, I first saw "Annie Hall" in pieces, and it was years before I sat down and watched it straight through.
