Richard Kiel (September 13, 1939 – September 10, 2014) R.I.P. He played Jaws and found his true love, Dolly (played by Blanche Ravalec).

I just saw "Moonraker" and looked him up. I was sad to read about his death.

The prop department of Happy Gilmore donated the Nike sneakers that Kiel wore in the movie to our childcare centre. We put the shoes in the dress-up area and it was hilarious watching 6 and 7 year old kids walking around with these gigantic shoes on their feet.
RIP, Richard.

That is so cool! He had a quite a career. I've seen him in reruns of various 60's shows like The Monkeys, Here Come The Brides, among other stuff (does anyone know if he ever appeared on Star Trek?).

I don't think Kiel ever did any Trek, but I bet he would have made a great Ruk in What are Little Girls Made of?
