When i was a kid , i used to confuse him with Jack O'Halloran.

I don't think I knew that Jaws had died! Why are you posting this?

I just saw "Moonraker" and looked him up. I was sad to read about his death. slight_frown

I second that

Richard Kiel was the coolest thing about Moonraker.

The prop department of Happy Gilmore donated the Nike sneakers that Kiel wore in the movie to our childcare centre. We put the shoes in the dress-up area and it was hilarious watching 6 and 7 year old kids walking around with these gigantic shoes on their feet.

RIP, Richard.

@Dark_Sithlord spy That is so cool! He had a quite a career. I've seen him in reruns of various 60's shows like The Monkeys, Here Come The Brides, among other stuff (does anyone know if he ever appeared on Star Trek?).

I don't think Kiel ever did any Trek, but I bet he would have made a great Ruk in What are Little Girls Made of?

@Dark_Sithlord grin Yes, he certainly would have.

I just saw him in the pilot of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (for two seconds, but still).
