Discuss Extraction 2

This was a pretty great straight-forward action movie. The plot is nothing special, just an excuse for the action, but I'm fine with that given the action is well planned, blocked and shot. Looking forward to part 3.

The one take was pretty good. But I can tell where they cut away and made it look like it was actually a 17 minute one take. But I mean there is no way they would actually be able to do it with so many action pieces going on.

Yeah that one take scene was pretty good, although I did find it funny that a whole gang decided to take on Chris Hemsworth one by one rather than they all just pile in on him.

And for a split second I thought Idris Elba was going to say his name is Luther...

Agree, that prison break scene was very impressive. Even though it's possible to recognize some of the cuts, the fighting scenes were still quite lengthy and well coordinated. The ending got kind of too sentimental, but forgivable. Sam Hargrave is a good stunt coordinator and he understands how to make an action scene thrilling, it seems that he is enjoying himself and being inventive. But for now that's all he does, and as director he needs to do a bit more than that. He's already got few interesting movies planned in the future, let's hope he improves his storytelling as well.
