I believe you are right.
I did not find a reliable source for the first theatre release in Quebec of The Shining.
The first theatre release I found is from February 1981 in the following papers. In all cases, the title was indeed "Shining - L'enfant lumière".
This is also one of the title listed on the Quebec government website even if the first release is not listed.
I changed the title back to: "Shining - L'enfant lumière" (as it was before)
