When Jack and Grady are standing in front of the mirror Grady tells him how one of his (Grady's) daughters hated the hotel and actually stole a pack of matches and tried to burn down the Overlook. Did that really happen or was Grady just trying to somehow justify his own deadly act of slaughter? (See my postings for more on Grady.)
