Discuss Midnight in the Switchgrass

Yeah, they called it "Night Hunter" (2019) then. What with the cop hunting for serial killer while another group is also is trying to catch the same serial killer with an entrapment operation plot. 'Night Hunter' wasn't exactly a masterpiece so it's hard to understand why they'd make a movie so similar so soon.

Also, why do people keep paying Bruce Willis for his contemporary subpar acting performances? I can only assume he is still charging a hefty sum for his 'acting' and it is hard to see how the producer/director gets their money's worth these days unless his name still has so much star power that it draws other suckers like me by the boatloads to watch his crappy movies. For a second I thought this wasn't one of those lazy and cheap movies Bruce has been putting out by the dozens lately, but sure enough and soon enough one of those same D-list actor faces (Tyler Jon Olson) shows up in this movie. That dude has been in pretty much every single one of these Bruce Willis movies he has put out in the last couple of years. Also not much of a surprise old Bruce keeps re-appearing and exiting the scene for brief on camera moments that probably last for a total of five minutes. When did this guy change to by the minute billing?

I'm not sure this serial killers career would have lasted as long as it did in this movie since it seems like he is definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed. He seems to have blocked his to-be murder victims escape route with a small piece of chicken wire that is barely dug into the ground so it's probably not that big of a surprise when one of his victims yanks up that chicken wire and decides to escape. Also he is surprised when one of his victims has removed the blindfold he put on her since there was nothing preventing her from doing so. The killer comes to his den and finds the blindfold on the floor and is surprised and says "Well, you're a smart one huh?". If that makes them smart this killer must have really really low standards.

Edit: Apparently one of the 'big name' stars of this movie Machine Gun Kelly had also compared this movie to garbage/trash (emoji) and said that is why he doesn't speak or tweet about it.
