阳光明媚的一天，郊外的大房子里，汤姆悠闲自在地躺在地板上睡大觉。正在此时，附近传来了一连串的吵闹声，原来杰瑞饱受汤姆欺负，于是在家中学起了空手道，它叮叮咣咣，将猫型人偶打得山响，技法尤其娴熟。这时，洞中出现一位大师的身影，大师称赞他的努力，并鼓励他外出实践自己的成果。虽然有些害怕，可是杰瑞还是勇敢走出门去，结果不出意料，他遭到汤姆的一顿胖揍。这时大师再度出现，大师承诺帮他找一个强力保镖，并给了杰瑞一面铜锣，遇到危险时敲响铜锣，那时穿着武士盔甲的保镖史派克便会闻声出现。

The cartoon starting scene starts outside of the house and then goes to Tom, who was taking a nap but was woken up by Jerry. Tom peeks through the mouse hole to see what the noise was and sees Jerry smacking a punching bag that looks like a cat. After Jerry finishes with the punching bag, his spiritual mentor appears and asks him if he's ready to take on the cat, which is Tom. Jerry nods yes. After Jerry walks out of his mouse hole he sees Tom at the end of a hallway and becomes afraid of him, until Tom starts to mock Jerry. He then laughs at the thought of Jerry defeating him. Jerry then decides to go and fight Tom until Tom pulls out a flyswatter and hits Jerry with it a couple of times. After the beating, Tom then slingshots Jerry with the flyswatter back into his mouse hole where he runs into one of his walls. Jerry's spiritual mentor appears again and gives Jerry a gong to ring that summons a "Karate Guard" named Momo-sumo (played by Spike) to aid him whenever he needs help.

Том неожиданно просыпается в своём доме из-за посторонних шумов. Осмотрев мышиную нору, выясняется, что звуки исходят от Джерри, который тренируется боевому искусству карате. Закончив тренировку, появляется духовный наставник, и предлагает мышонку практиковать свои приёмы на коте. Однако первая попытка заканчивается неудачей, и учитель Джерри даёт гонг, призывающий на подмогу бойца сумо Спайка. С его помощью соперник не раз побеждает своего противника. Чтобы расправиться со своими противникам, Том звонит Бутчу, который со своими друзьями должны убрать Спайка и схватить Джерри. Коты неудачно обстреляли Спайка пейнтбольными шариками, но последний быстро расправляется с ними с помощью Тома, из которого сделал шар. В конце эпизода показывают Джерри и пса, которые смотрят телевизор и заставляют Тома исполнять их желания.
