Throughout the movie I kept waiting for a scene where she wakes up in a mental hospital or something and says "IT WAS ALL A HORRIBLE DREAM!" because none of it made any sense. Then when that scene never came and I got the end where she is in a street fight against a flying bat-man(?) and punching it in the mouth repeatedly despite it having very sharp protruding teeth and blocking its' haymaker punches despite it having huge talons for hands, I thought "Oh, I get it now, it's all an allegory and she is really fighting her drunk husband in her home and any second now that monster will transform into her husband and the surroundings into her home", but that also never happened so I'm sitting here scratching my head. To summarize we got a movie about flying man-bat monsters and magically appearing airplanes and chicks climbing on top of high flying bomber air planes etc.
