Hi, they are listed as movies on Disney+ so we keep them as movies here. Thanks.

(Edit: I hid the extra reports.)

That is wrong, that companies present their products in different formats and packs, or in this case in VOD, does not mean that they change the original category.

If you enter their official fandom you will see that they catalog it as a Series.

https://disney.fandom.com/en/wiki/Forky

They also use the "TV Parental Guidelines" rating system, specifically "TV-G (General Audience)"

https://rating-system.fandom.com/wiki/TV_Parental_Guidelines

But even in the streaming service itself if you look at its url:

https://disneyplusoriginals.disney.com/SHOW/forky-asks-a-question

Please correct it or review it by another moderator.

The official release page is the page where you have the play button, aka where you can effectively play the video. For this one, the page is https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/forky-asks-a-question-what-is-art/44GVChHmJkvw . You can see in the URL that its a movie page.

The fandom is not an official Disney site, but a users edited site.

"TV Parental Guidelines" are for all TV content, whether they are TV movies or TV series. It is not restricted to the series.

This page is just a pre-release advertisment page and not an official page. But, if I quote this page "in a collection of 10 shorts called “Forky Asks A Question”. So, this is a collection of shorts, not a series.

Ok, Official page:

I don't think it's that hard to understand.

As indicated above, this is just an advertisement page.

The official page that should be taken in account for streaming videos is only the page with the "play" button, this is the page where the release effectively happen.

In the case here, this page is https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/forky-asks-a-question-what-is-art/44GVChHmJkvw .

Maybe you can group them as short movies under movie category, same as Disney is grouping Forky as a series, and same as you do with Looney Toones, for example: they are shorts, but you group them as they were released in BD, not creating standalone versions for each and every Looney Toones short movie. And the Looney Toones packs are listed as movies.

We can't create a collection for them as they aren't true movie sequels. This is the same for Looney Tunes.

For Looney Tunes, we have some movie entries for compilation DVDs with the video tag set to true. Was there DVD releases for the Forky shorts ?

No, of course, but maybe in the future will be. So, it is mandatory for compilations to be preceded by a DVD/BD release? And not all the collections are true movie sequels, unless I've seen alternate versions of James Bond movies... But I was referring in my message rather to create a movie entry for the compilation of shorts, same as Looneys, but if the requirement is the physical release...

Yes, because the compilation is an entry for the DBD/BD.

As indicated in the rules, for collections, James Bond is the only exception.
