I love the soundtrack to Drive but I've played my Electric Youth album to death. Can anybody recommend any good 80's nostalgia bands I could give a try?

A couple of bands I'm currently listening to, Vitriolic and Police Academy 6 (yep, that's the name of an actual band - found them by accident on Spotify!) have a real cool 80s vibe also try Pilotpriest but they're a little heavier going with songs lasting upto 20 minutes long... Still cool tho... Edit: I'm assuming you meant modern bands with an 80s vibe? Either way, these are worth a try...!

Thanks, I will certainly give them a go. Well, if you're going to name something it might as well be Police Academy 6.

No worries, also in a similar vein, have you seen Neon Demon? Very cool film in style and the soundtrack is amazing - I think you'd like it, like the band's I mentioned, it's all a little left of center, but very 80s cool inspired...

Yes, I like Neon Demon and yeah the soundtrack is very cool. I love films with retro sountracks. The Guest is a good one. I'm listening to Police Academy 6 now. It's groovy.

Nice one! Glad you're liking it - I've got an odd taste in music, so I was worried it might not be what you are after, but that's great

No, you certainly can't. But I was looking more for music of today that evokes memories of the 80s rather than music actually from the 80s. But I did just give The Buggles a go anyway because I've never heard them before (other than Video Killed the Radio Star). Good fun!

I might give The Guest a go later after reading up on it... Cheers!
