Discuss The Ice Road

This movie was intense. So much so, that it seems the writers just ran out of ideas to resolve the movie properly. The bad guys hardly got sufficient comeuppance to fit their degree of evil.

Haven't yet seen the movie, though I did just look at the cast list..... So this is what the dude who played the dad in The Hand That Rocks The Cradle is up to these days!!! Hurray for him, in that he's still getting roles in decent-budget films. This beats the hell out of Annabella Sciorra's most recent gigs, i.e. making the rounds on every TV newsmagazine in existence, for the express purpose of letting us all know that Harvey Weinstein ran his hand up her leg back in the early 90s

Re: Matt McCoy, yep, I shouldn't spoil it to tell you what kind of character he is in this movie, but give it a watch, it's fresh entertainment (not often a movie is set in northern Manitoba - the streets of NYC or LA this ain't).

Re: Annabella Sciorra, I wouldn't sell her short, she's putting in work, her recent Before I Go (2021) is getting decent ratings. And she held her own with some heavyweights in What Dreams May Come (1998) Hollywood is hard enough for a woman, give credit where it's due.
