Which one is better in you guys' opinion? I would probably pick Werner Herzog's brilliant remake, cause im not a big fan of silent films, but of the ones I have watched so far Nosferatu entertained me.

Definitely Nosferatu (1922).

1922 by far. But Herzog's version isn't bad. It has a couple standout scenes like the madness in the town square (thanks largely to the excellent music). However it also suffers from what I call Herzog Syndrome... where his artistic arrogance lets slip a few painful goofs. The botched scene of the vampire's reflection in the mirror for example (similar to the slow motion botched murder scene in Woyzeck where he's holding the knife backwards). Or the modern safety railing at Borgo Pass, a more meticulous filmmaker would've spotted those immediately. We could let these goofs slip in a lesser film but if you dare to remake the pillar of German cinema you better be on your game.

I've watched this '79 film multiple times throughout the decades and have always appreciated its visuals, style, eerie, moody atmospherics and music, and Klaus Kinski nailing the look and creepiness of the creature. This movie otherwise has always seemed flat and boring to me.
Though the 1922 classic never really has done much for me - however gets automatic bonus points for being a landmark silent and so unique for its time - my overall preference vote goes a bit more for '22.
