Except for the punchline ("I'ĺl have what she's having"). Clips of that scene put me off seeking out this film for many a year. It just seemed like somewhat weak slapstic that also suggested a film with possible misandristic undertones (let's giggle at how redundant and gullible males are). But setting aside the US cinema's somewhat bizarre tolerance of women physically assaulting men (a misjudged moment here), nothing could be further from the truth.

A really solid film that has wonderfully restrained comic timing by not chasing after the next gag, but just sprinkling one or two in casually per scene. Plus a good screenplay that manages to be be sympathetic to both sexes and lead characters whilst also presenting the leads as somewhat unsympathetic characters (also known as presenting rounded humans). Very impressed and probably the best of the 'romcom' genre that I've seen.
