It's awfully sad that both Carrie Fisher and Bruno Kirby - Sally and Harry's respective best friends in the film - are no longer with us. I always found their performances every bit as memorable as those of Crystal and Ryan. Fisher, in particular, gave arguably the performance of her career as the sharp-tongued Marie. Nora Ephron's (another R.I.P.) memorable lines roll deliciously off her tongue.

"All I'm saying is that somewhere out there is the man you are supposed to marry. And if you don't get him first, somebody else will, and you'll have to spend the rest of your life knowing that somebody else is married to your husband."
